Happy 200th Birthday Tatsuni
Tatsuni is now 200 years old, he's now out of his TestTube and in a 2ltr Soda Bottle, he grew so big we felt we had to liberate him :)
Abusing the Aliens again
Oh for goodness sake, we didn't see the warning lights, he always looks perfectly happy but on checking today I now get this.

Hmmm. we did go out and leave it for the weekend, should've used the coma setting!
You have abused your alien by leaving it in the light for too long on 5 occasions

Keep them in Sloog or they might take over!
After the last post, I thought I'd clean Tatsuni up a bit in readiness for his photo session, seeing as how I thought he'd stopped growing.
OOOOPs, that was a big mistake he's now growing again, perhaps I'll have to move him to a bigger home, moral is keep them in the sloog, or else they might take over

Tatsuni is well, so far
I thought I'd tell you about our Alien for a change, I never took pics at the time of the hatching, but I'll post some later after I clean him up a bit, he's murky in the sloog swamp he calls home.
Tatsuni was hatched on Christmas Day, while the rest of the family were in - they didn't half wonder what was going on and they fear (not only for my sanity) but the safety of the world.
He (now 23, shouldn't he be going out to earn his keep?) grew very rapidly in the first week, and I was beginning to wonder if he would break out of his tube, but thankfully he hasn't though his antennae are now touching the top of the test tube.
We find the hardest bit is the balance between light and dark, his (long) memory reports that we've abused him a few times by leaving him in the light too long! with the long dark nights here at the minute we forget he's still sitting beside the lamp
Are we unfit adoptive parents?
